  1. There is an excitement in the air...can't you just smell the dusty roll?

If you know what the dusty roll is, you probably skated at Alexandria.

The Dusty Roll is what you called the cloud of dust still moving around the rink...long after the rolling has stopped!

    Ahhhh,Good times! Goodtimes!

  2. In 1979 the Alexandria Roller Rink was resurrected, and rejuvinated by: Marc Ray, and Sam Gilyard.

On any given sunday, you could roll next to close to a thousand members of,"THE GREATEST FAMILY ON EARTH"!

On November 30,1986; We skated our last round on N. St. Asaph.

Get ready! It's time to REUNITE!!!

So, stay tuned, and sign in.

  3. Alexandria Roller was the first rink that I learned how to really "Roll." I got that smooth, fast style, with that mean lean taking the corners on the wood from hanging with the best group of skaters in the Nation!

My memories are full of special thoughts and feelings that came from a Family of skaters that shared that true passion for the sport.

I look forward to the 25th Reunion and seeing many people that share this same passion and love for skating and the positive feeling and memory of our experiences from special times at Alexandria Rink.
